LaVonne Office Administrator
"At AGD, we have a family feeling among us."
Since beginning her career in dentistry in 1962, LaVonne has worked as both a dental assistant and an office manager for three dental practices. As the office administrator for Associates for General Dentistry, LaVonne is a skilled problem-solver and master "people person."
LaVonne grew up on a farm in Minnesota, where she developed her sense of dedication and a strong work ethic. At age 18, after her high-school graduation, she moved to Minneapolis.
Once a six-year resident of Arlington Heights, LaVonne still enjoys the community's "small-town feeling." In addition to her charity work with a local women's group, she spends her time gardening, sewing, and collecting antiquesparticularly antique glass such as "salt dips" and carnival glass. She is also involved in a "never-ending" remodeling of her home.
LaVonne takes great pride in her two grown children, as well as her "sweet, little" grandsons, whom she describes as being "the light of my life."
LaVonne's Dental Health Tip: "A great smile gives a wonderful first impression. Value that."
