Karissa — Registered Dental Hygienist

Karissa was inspired to her current profession by her mother, a registered dental hygienist who once employed Karissa as her dental assistant. A dental hygienist since 1993, Karissa joined the Associates for General Dentistry in 1997. She is known for her outgoing personality and the friendships she builds with her patients.
Karissa was raised in Des Plaines and attended Maine West High School. In 1993, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Iowa.
When she's not at the office, you may find Karissa pursuing her many hobbies—boating, waterskiing, cooking, crafts, or shopping in one of the stores in downtown Arlington Heights. She and her husband, Tim, have two wonderful children, Dylan (5) and Mia (2).
